‘Twisted Blisters’ Challenge to raise money for charity

What is the Twisted Blisters Charity Challenge?

Monday 7th December 2020 marked the beginning of the CSI Group fitness challenge, a team we named the “Twisted Blisters”!

The goal is simple; cover the distance between the Tectrade office in New York and the CSI office in Birmingham… a total distance of 3,375 miles!

…But without the use of trains, planes, or automobiles!

So, whether it’s walking the dog, roller-skating in the park, running, indoor cycling, or swimming laps of a private pool (for anyone lucky enough to have one!), we invited everyone in the UK and US teams to participate.

How many miles have we covered?

As of Monday 4th January 2021, the Twisted Blisters have covered 2,523 miles!

Why a fitness challenge?

With 2020 being so tough mentally, we felt the need to encourage each other to get active and away from our laptops over lunch breaks, outside work hours, or during weekends.

We wanted something fun that would do some good for our minds and bodies – and help raise money for our corporate charities in both the US and UK.

Which charities do we support?

In the UK, CSI is fundraising for Mind and NHS Charities Together – if you would like to donate, please visit the Justgiving pages we have set up:

In the US, the team is fundraising for Feeding America, and we welcome you to visit this page if you wish to donate:

Thank you for donating!

Collectively, we’ve already raised over £3,000 for our charities and would like to thank everyone who has supported us and donated to these worthwhile causes.

Every pound and every dollar goes a long way to helping those less fortunate.
