BlackLight Software chosen by Praxity for software solutions and website revamp
System integration specialist, CSI and it's Microsoft Division BlackLight Software has been selected by Praxity – the world’s largest Alliance of independent accountancy firms – to revamp its software platforms and website.
In a bid to streamline Praxity’s current data and customer relationship management tools, BlackLight is upgrading and re-designing an existing Microsoft SharePoint 2007 system and converting to SharePoint 2010. It is also customising and integrating Microsoft’s CRM 2011 into this system.
Praxity was established in 2007 and is amongst the top 10 global accounting associations; it has 60 Participant members, (with 2,500 plus partners) in 84 countries supporting 27,700 staff in 553 offices.
BlackLight Managing Director, Mike McGrady, comments; “This is a complete solution with data driven from CRM and content driven from SharePoint. It will improve the dynamics of the Praxity website, making it easier for users to source information and services.”
The software upgrade and addition of CRM tools will provide Praxity with a central data hub whereby member firms can exchange and update working documents and access a wider range of communication and reference tools via an intuitive system.
It’s anticipated the new systems and website will go live in Q2. Graeme Gordon, Praxity’s Executive Director, comments: “Member firms will not only find our site easier to navigate, but their overall experience will be enhanced due to more user-friendly and responsive systems.”
He concludes: “As a not-for-profit organisation serving a worldwide audience, it’s vital the solutions we use are cost-effective, reliable and flexible. BlackLight is enabling us to implement such solutions.”
BlackLight Software is part of the CSI Group - one of the UK’s leading business system integration firms specialising in designing, delivering and implementing hardware/software infrastructure, applications and mobile IT solutions on a project or managed basis with 24/7 support.
