Whilst Hawkshead had operated an e-Commerce channel for some years, the site was becoming old and out of date in terms of its functionality, navigation and user-experience.
In essence, Hawkshead required an e-Commerce facility that could function as an extension to their high street presence delivering a simple and efficient user experience. The development of the project looked into two areas of improvement:
Process: Ability to manage, maintain/update easily and be fully integrated and automated with their back-office applications
Customer: Maintain brand presence and communicate the values of Hawkshead. Simple and straightforward navigation, buying and payment process
