Business Assessment
The Business Assessment from CSI is aimed at mid-sized UK
companies that want to understand how they can improve the visibility
of how their business is actually performing. Whether it’s due to
current systems being old and tired or through lack of investment
the Business Assessment aims at providing positive outcomes and
insights.
Our three stepped approach is a tried and tested method to assess
the issues and needs of your company.
| Step 1 -
Generating value from IT |
The first phase is carried out by one of our Consultants, either onsite
or online. This involves answering some initial questions that measure
key metrics within your business.
On completion, we will present our findings on the effectiveness of
your current IT systems and provide a summary to demonstrate any
potential vulnerabilities and gaps. If we believe that there is identifiable
‘value’ to be derived from implementing new IT Systems then we move
onto Phase 2.
The next step requires all parties full approval before participation
and includes:
|
A one-day, on-site Business Audit hosted by our Industry
Consultants who will interview business managers to understand
issues of primary concern
|
|
At the application level a further 1 day technical audit is required
to establish the current systems performance from both a
technical and functional level
|
On completion of the above on-site days, CSI will provide a
Business Audit Report covering:
|
Key business challenges within your company
|
Identified pain points in your functions and systems which
highlight areas of improvement
|
|
Estimated costs for recommended project
|
|
Benchmarking against competitors
| |
| Step 3 -
Realisation Plan |
Subject to agreement from all parties, the final phase is a
detailed Realisation Plan where CSI undertakes the following:
|
1 day on-site Return on Investment Workshop using the Shark
Finesse modelling tool to assess costs of your investment and
payback from new IT projects. The output is used to evaluate any
software project
|
|
1 day on-site ‘Business Improvement’ Workshop which involves
taking key business scenarios and modelling them againsed a
solution which is based on best practice in your industry
|
