Implementation and Landscape Architecture

Any application solution being proposed, either by implementing SAP for new customers or the additional requirement for new functionality, requires the technical team to map onto suitable hardware and software components. In addition to this, the design of the hardware has to be aligned to the availability needs and fulfil service level agreements. Sizing of the hardware and future scalability of the solution are also key factors in this process.

The SAP NetWeaver architecture, which underpins the SAP applications is cross platform and database independent, which provides the customer with flexibility in determining the hardware, OS and database layers.

Designing of a suitable backup solution and considering High Availability or Continuous Availability are all key requirements for customers to meet their availability and SLA targets.

Through our experience at CSI in providing customers with both large and small scale hardware and software solutions we are proficient in the following skills and technologies:

  • Operating systems – Wintel, Unix (AIX , Solaris, HP-UX), AS400 / iSeries
