CSI, one of the UK's leading business systems integrators is currently working with Dogs Trust to assist them with their migration from an unsupported IBM Product, WBI to a more secure and fast solution selected by Dogs Trust - IBM WebSphere Message Broker.
Founded in 1891, Dogs Trust (formerly the National Canine Defence League) is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK. Their mission is to bring about the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction. Each year they care for around 16,000 dogs at their nationwide network of 17 Rehoming Centres.
Requiring connectivity and messaging between Dogs Trust and their partners, CSI designed and implemented a central enterprise service bus (ESB). Based upon IBM WebSphere Message broker and hosted in the CSI data centre the ESB ensures seamless routing and data transformation. CSI provide ongoing service support, ensuring that integration with the ESB is as painless as possible and enables Dogs Trust to quickly onboard new partners with little or no effort
The project has been successful and Mike Houghton, Development Manager, Dogs Trust states "We were having problems with our existing partner and we knew we could get more from the software we had invested in. CSI came on board to support and direct us and provide recommendations that dealt with our specific challenges. The project has been seamless and delivered within budget and the timeframe given" he continues "I would have no hesitation recommending or using CSI for future projects - they have provided excellent pre-sales and the project was managed and implemented with a technical quality and SLAs that you would expect from a partner"
"Dogs Trusts' website now seamlessly transacts all donations through a fully integrated system. All virtual donations are approved and paid instantly, which is of great benefit to the ongoing success of our charity"
